During filming on Thursday 21 January 1971, this 500-horsepower V12 racing car driven by Jaguar test driver Norman Dewis crashed at MIRA when a wheel broke off.
This is a picture taken on that Thursday just before the fatal ride began.
With the 100% original signature of Norman Dewis who died 8 June 2019 at the age of 99.
The picture measures 40 x 30 cm and comes from the famous photo collection of Jaguar author Paul Skilleter.
