Cartel klocka - Brons - Sent 1800-tal

Napoleon III style gilt bronze cartel decorated with acanthus leaves, garlands, coat of arms and shells. Diamond shaped checkered back.
On a six-foot base, two of which are clawed. Numbered: 2629 behind the bell and on the pendulum.
French work, late 19th century.

Good overall condition, beautiful old patina, traces of age and wear. Functional movement but to be checked and overhauled. No winding key. Traces of oxidation especially under the feet, inside the clock and on the pendulum.
Crack on the Roman numerals "4" and 8".
