Beautiful early comtoise large model (270 wide ).
Movement by means of a so-called verge escapement.
The clock strikes a bell on the half and full hours, followed after about 2 minutes by a repetition on the full hours.
The half-hourly strike works by means of the so-called forced strike, activated by the running movement. This is a feature that is only found in the earlier comtoise clocks.
The dial is equipped with a beautiful floral pattern.
The edge of the dial is still super beautiful in the gold (with sun on top).
The clock has wooden winding spools, very beautiful hands.
The movement is professionally cleaned, provided with new bushings and fine-tuned/adjusted where needed.
This clock can withstand years again and will be shipped complete with wall bracket and winding key.
The photos are part of the description.
The clock can be sent by PostNL. Pick-up in Tilburg, the Netherlands, is preferred, however. This would also allow you to see the clock running and in working order.
