The contents consist of a seven page introductory essay by Pierre Bourgeade entitled "Le Cantique d'Irina Ionesco" followed by Ionesco's erotic photographs all executed in her distinctive style.
These draw on a certain fin de siècle aesthetic. Velvet, lace and silk combine with an airless, claustrophobic atmosphere to create a dense, dark, threatening eroticism.
Cent Onze is the sixth of the collection "Images Obliques" produced by Roger Borderie and Michel Camus.
Rare hardcover edition.
